NEW WORLD ORDER?
By now we have all heard the term, New World Order, at one time or another. But what does it mean, exactly? Is it really the Babylon we should fear? Or is it nothing more than a conspiracy theory!? The generic definition alludes to a secret plan orchestrated by an extremely powerful and influential group of genetically-related people. This elite empire exists at the highest echelons [pyramid level] of society (e.g. the wealthiest five-percent; top political leaders; corporate elite; and the Black Nobility of Europe dominated by the British Crown. Their alleged goal is to create a One World Fascist Government (i.e. Dictatorship), stripped of nationalistic and regional boundaries, obedient to their agenda.
Whew! Is any of that at all possible? Sure! Is any of it new? Of course not! Throughout history there has arisen one Order after the next. We called them “empires!” From 2400 to 612 BCE, Assyria flourished. Is it hard to believe; after all those years of ruling they eventually speculated about a New World Order? And of course, there were those who considered such talk a conspiracy theory - at least, at first. After the fall of the Assyrian capital, Nineveh, the Babylonian Empire emerged. Hence, after a series of battles and winning the war the victorious side ruled. And after a while, biblical prophecies emerged predicting the fall of the next great Order.
RELIGIOUS CONSPIRACY THEORY Many Bible Scholars suggest the “fall of Babylon” is a futuristic event; mainly, because Isaiah 13 constantly uses the term, “The Day of the Lord” in association. However, there is such a thing as a “religious conspiracy theory.” In their minds, this text always implies a current futuristic event. But could the Lord have had more than one day? This text merely identifies an account when the Lord exacted vengeance upon what ever pissed him off! Ergo, the Day of the Lord could be applied to the ancient Hebrew exodus out of Egypt! In Isaiah 3(:18), the Day of the Lord is directed toward the falls of Jerusalem and Judah. And Jeremiah 46(:10) speaks about the Day of the Lord against the Gentiles. The text is not always applied to the fall of an empire or new world order.
In a nutshell, some Scholars suggest the “Day of the Lord (fall of Babylon)” in Isaiah and the “Day of the Lord (Thief in the Night)” in 1Thesalonians 5:2 are one in the same. And it doesn’t help that the Book of Revelations constantly talks about the fall of this empire. As a matter of fact, Isaiah 21:9 and Revelations 14:8 both use the identical text, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen.” And as we all know, the New World Order prophecies in Revelations have not yet occurred. Or, so we are told. How does anyone really know? They don’t! Based on nothing more than “personal opinion” and “speculation,” we are told Bible prophecies (both Old Testament and New) refer to OUR future and not the futures of the people who lived when the text was written.
All conspiracy theory aside, are we really interested in any prophecies predicted to take place hundreds of years after we die? NO! We are more concerned with the New World Order expected to manifest in 2012! Or was it the end of the world? What ever might happen in 4012 does not concern us! What makes us think it was any different with Old and New Testament prophets? When people asked about the future … it was THEIR OWN futures they were concerned about … not ours! They had no idea what empires would even exist 2000 years down the road! What are the chances … NO ONE CARED! But it’s easy for some to read the old biblical prophecies about Babylon then speculate and spread fear and pandemonium.
THE ANCIENT WORLD ORDER In Genesis 11, at one time the whole earth (Babylon) was unified in a New World Order setting with one mind and one voice. As it turned out, only mankind thought this was a good thing. The Lord some how felt intimidated and destroyed the unity by confusing everyone’s speech! Eventually, the people divided into different groups and went their separate ways. And as a result, one empire after the next has tried to rule. Talk about a conspiracy theory, we’re taught to blame wars, fighting and killing on Eve! This is not to say, the Lord was evil. On the contrary, the ancients did not believe in “good VS evil.” This is a Greek idea that came along centuries later. They believed the Lord giveth and taketh away. He created the dry land and he sent the massive flood. He caused it to rain on the Just and the Unjust. He provided light and darkness! Hence, they did not believe in the “God VS Satan” scenario. Once again, that’s a Greek thing! ISAIAH 45.7: I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil [s/b the bad]: I the LORD do all these [things].
THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME From the moment I heard the term New World Order, I could not help but to ask, “What’s the Big Deal?” Is not UNITY supposed to be a GOOD THING? After all, the greatest country on earth, the United States of America, is based on unity. So why is a united Human Race portrayed as evil? A common conspiracy is the theory the Beast in the Book of Revelations is on his way! He is an evil ruler who unites the planet into one empire and leads billions to their doom in the process. Ergo, the future Babylon. But is it remotely possible; this guy already came and went? In Revelations, the Beast of the New World Order is known by the number of his name. And what are the chances people tried to figure this out when the text was first written? The very first candidate was a world emperor by the name of Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. Who was he? The Caesar who began the campaign of hunting down and executing Christians - by the hundreds of thousands - often for sport! And this was all going on while the Book of Revelations was written. What are the chances? As it turns out, in the Hebrew Alephbet the shortened version of his name (Caesar Nero or QSR NRON) adds up to 666:
ALEPH=1. BETH=2. GIMEL=3. DALET=4. HE=5. VAV=6. ZAYIN=7. CHETH=8. TETH=9. YODH=10. KAPH=20. LAMED=30. MEM=40. NUN=50. SAMEKH=60. AYIN=70. PE=80. TSADHE=90. KOPH=100. RESH=200. SHIN=300. TAV=400. Q (100) + S (60) + R (200) + N (50) + R (200) + O/V (6) + N (50) = 666 In Hebrew, an N is added at the end of a foreign name ending with O. However, in some Greek manuscripts the final N does not appear in the name and the number adds up to 616. Hence, there are two different numbers! How’s that for a conspiracy theory? But I believe Hollywood thought “666” was more marketable. Yet, there are those who insist the Beast of Babylon will appear in the future and single-handedly run the entire planet as one empire! Regardless, we should all realize by now, the name of any person we dislike can be made to add up to those dreaded numbers; 666 being the number of choice for the New World Order.
