KING JAMES I OF ENGLAND DOCUMENTATION or SPECULATION?

Why would King James I of England produce a holy document in which the speculation is homosexuality is a sin; if he was a homosexual? This is the logic those who control information argue to suggest he was not! But their argument is based on nothing more than personal opinion and assumption. They completely ignore any evidence that suggests he was. However, unbiased Historians draw their conclusions based on DOCUMENTED FACTS from the time King James I lived. This is what they do!
I must confess this subject is a tad misleading. We should be clear; AMONG OTHER THINGS … King James I of England was a homosexual. And this is not based on speculation! Simply because first and foremost … he was a King! And although Kings were not elected by the people, it was no easy feat to make it to the throne. Especially, if you had relatives who would prefer that you were dead! To say the least, “homosexual” does not define him! And the King was self-proclaimed holy, if he preferred. Who is going to argue? Call the King a sinner … you get beheaded! But regardless of the facts of an old document; some would be Scholars compromise and suggest he was bi-sexual. But as far as I’m concerned, the definition of homosexual is “a person who is sexually attracted to his own sex.” If a person meets this criterion, anything other than that is totally irrelevant!
COM'ON - BE HONEST! If you are sexually attracted to your own sex and you also like so have sex with Zebras … you are a homosexual. The fact that you also like sex with Zebras is beside the point! It is documented throughout human history, male homosexuals had wives and children. Lesbians were subject to the laws of being female. Ergo, they were nothing more than a man’s property. And if a heterosexual man owned an attractive Lesbian … he never knew the Lesbian part! This is no speculation! The main priority was to obey the first commandment God gave to mankind: Be fruitful and multiply. Everyone was holy in this regard. The sin was to disobey and Homosexuals did not consider themselves excluded! This is why most cultures really did not give-a-hoot! Even if a man was gay, he would marry and have children. And one of the duties of a King is to produce an Heir to his throne.

A KING AND A HERO Documented history reveals; King James I had a Queen [no pun intended] but he was open about his homosexuality. In jest, some of his inner-circle would call him, “Queen James!” And all speculation aside, there were no holy self-righteous right-wing religious groups openly condemning the King’s sexual orientation. That is … unless they wanted to literally lose their heads at the gallows! Wrap this around your brain … NO ONE CARED! Why? There were more important things to worry about! For instance, James I grew up in a time when the Holy Scriptures was only available to the Clergy (and certain Royalty). And he always believed they should be made available to the common people, as well. How’s that for a sinner?
A CHILD PRODIGY HOMOSEXUAL? On June 19, 1566, King James I was born James VI and became King of Scotland on his first birthday. By age 8 he spoke Latin, Greek, French, English, Spanish and Italian, fluently. Some say it is documented; he spoke as many as TEN different languages. Holy Cow! Not suggesting sin or negativity but “homosexual” did not completely define him! He often read the Latin Scriptures (the only language of the Bible at the time) and translated them aloud in which ever language his listeners understood. No speculation! However, by age 13 he fell in-love with his male cousin, Esmé Stuart (the eventual Duke of Lennox). So, his sexual preference was common knowledge; children of royalty were always watched. Still later on, he fell in love with a dirt-poor Scotsman named, Robert Carr. In 1611, Thomas Howard, Earl of Suffolk, wrote in a letter, "The king leans on his [Carr's] arm, pinches his cheeks, smooths his ruffled garment, and when he looks upon Carr, directs his speech to others." Practically (if not) everyone King James I promoted to a Duke or Earl status, was a former lover. Robert Carr became the Earl of Somerset.
KING JAMES - KING JESUS Like Jesus, as a young child King James I was well-versed in the Scriptures. So if they condemned homosexuality, he would have known about it. In addition, he was in the best position possible to have eradicated any such language from the Scriptures! As a matter of documented fact, in the early 1500s, homosexuals were called, among other things, Inverts. If the 1611 Bible sponsored by the King said anything regarding homosexuality, any of the commonly used words of the time would have been used to denote it. Speculation of any kind would be unnecessary! Actually, no one had the impression homosexuality was a sin until the 1946 Revised Standard Version of the Bible was published in the USA. It deliberately mistranslated certain text to read, homosexual(s). And it licensed the country’s Super Holy Televangelists (e.g. Billy Graham, Pat Robertson, Oral Roberts, and Jerry Falwell) to openly express their bigotry!
King James I believed his life paralleled Jesus; they both were Kings. His personal touch to the KJV Bible was having it endorse KINGS and LORDS. The Holy One was King of Kings! He also believed (like himself) Jesus was a homosexual; this was not considered a sin. As a matter of documented fact, in 1617 during a moral debate to ease all speculation King James I addressed the Privy Council with his official affirmation; he loved men! Towards the end he stated, “I confess to loving those (men) dear to me more than other men (do). You may be sure that I love the Earl of Buckingham more than anyone else and more than you who are here assembled. I wish to speak in my own behalf and not to have it thought to be a defect, for Jesus Christ did the same and therefore I cannot be blamed! Christ had John and I have George (Villiers, Earl of Buckingham).”
THE MAGNIFICENT HOMOSEXUAL From one old document we learn King James I was admired as a brilliant military strategist and admired for uniting the disorganized and warring tribes of Scotland into one kick-ass nation! This led to the unification of England and Scotland to form the foundation of what became the British Empire. And he was gay! If James I lived today, the only thing homophobes would see is his gayness. They think they can define another person and completely ignore any major accomplishments! A heterosexual can be a murderer, serial killer, serial rapist, terrorist, gang banger and drug dealer … but THAT’S OK! Let’s all freak out over two consenting adults (of the same sex) who mind their own business wanting to legally wed. I know there are those who would suggest; King James I of England had a bunch of enemies who would slander him (e.g. call him gay) after his death. But that speculation is based on assuming people in 15th century Europe perceived homosexuality in the same exact way that 21st century self-righteous holy homophobic extremists do today. They cannot fathom the thought that … IT WAS NO BIG DEAL! Especially, if the guy in question was … THE KING! That meant … no one else had an opinion! And if all the self-righteous homophobes of today lived in 15th century England, they would all be imprisoned and put to death if they challenged the King! He was not a President elected by the people! Nuff said. No sin. The End.
