The Genesis Revelation:
The First Homosexual In The Bible

(by Chris Masterson)

If you’re familiar with Genesis, you can probably tell this Hebrew based revelation in the Bible is not a traditional lesson. Unbeknownst to most, the first homosexual is found among the first few chapters. A common misconception; the first homosexuals were the nameless men of Sodom of chapter 19. But as it turns out, the men of Sodom were more comparable to “men in prison” who gang rape defenseless new inmates. As Genesis 13:13 states: the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked! But there are those who try to make homosexuality synonymous with wickedness. And with a quick slight-of-scripture, they succeed.

Cain and Abel: One Was Gay!
As I became more familiar with the ancient Hebrew language of Genesis (and by familiar I mean actually reading the text), I discovered one revelation after another not present in the English translations. Contrary to traditional school-of-thought, elements in the Bible that suggest some of the most famous characters were gay! In this chapter, we will explore one example out of many. So why not begin with the very first documented homosexual in the scriptures. Remember two brothers who went by the names, Cain and Abel? Well, one of them was a homosexual! But you can’t tell from the limited information of the English translation.

What do we biblically know about Cain and Abel? Genesis 4:1-2a tells of their back-to-back births. And 4:2b reveals: Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. If they were twins, why didn’t they share their chores? Is this the first indication of the Bible that Cain was more masculine and Abel, more effeminate? Not the traditional conclusion but there is more. Actually, the observation that led to this revelation has nothing to do with Hebrew. It is the underlined text of Genesis 3:16:

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

There is nothing un-traditional here. As common to Genesis and found all over the Bible, a woman should desire her husband. And all politics aside for the sake of this discussion, the husband should have the authority. What does this have to do with anything? This next revelation has nothing to do with Hebrew. But in Genesis 4:6-7, we find the same text regarding the twin brothers, Cain and Abel:

And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee [shall be] HIS desire, and thou shalt rule over HIM.

Further Analysis Reveals
In the first Genesis example from the Bible, the LORD is talking to Eve. In the second, the LORD is talking to Cain. So, we have the same Source using the same words. What are the chances they mean the same thing? Reviewing the text, in the case of Cain the pronouns HIS and HIM are used; referring to Abel who is not present. But that doesn’t make sense! Cain and Abel were brothers … twins, no doubt! Well here’s an unrelated revelation that challenges traditional school-of-thought. Technically, so were Adam and Eve! Think about it! If a person was made from a part of your body, would that person (having the exact same DNA) not be related to you? And by the way, it doesn’t take the Hebrew text to see; they were not the only people. But that’s another story for another time.

Unfortunately in Genesis 4:7, traditional school-of-thought insists the HIS and HIM refer to THE SIN that lieth at the door; as though the abstract sin has human personality. On the contrary, the conversation shifts from the awaiting sin to the person who Cain is worried about … Abel. Earlier, Abel’s offering was accepted; Cain’s was not. The revelation here in the conversation is about turning the tables on Abel so that the eldest twin, Cain, would be accepted. And the underlined text is the anticipated result; Abel would desire to be with Cain and Cain would rule over him. Homosexuality between siblings! You never expected that, did you? But don’t take my word for it. I did promise you the language of the Bible. [FYI: This incident established the eldest son inheritance rule]

Now Let's Explore the Hebrew!
Genesis 4:7 in Hebrew

The first line of text is the biblical Hebrew; read from right to left. The second line is the English transliteration; or pronunciation. The third line is the raw English translation. As you can see, it is not exactly like the official English translation of Genesis. Case in point, “the gateway [of] misfortune stretches out” is not quite the same nor as intense as the official English counterpart “sin lieth at the door.” And Abel’s misfortune is Cain’s fortune. Ergo, Abel’s desire will be Cain and Cain will rule over Abel. At this point, traditional school-of-thought speculates; the text is referring to Cain’s descendants ruling over Abel’s descendants. Even though there is no indication we are talking about descendants of any kind! That would be making things up that do not appear in the Bible. Heavy revelation!

The last revelation of this article reveals; the Hebrew word “teshuqato (his desiring)” is from the root “teshuka,” which more specifically means: a man craving a woman; a woman craving a man; a man craving a man; or a woman craving a woman. And the result of the relationship is one dominant person and one submissive person. It has nothing to do with the descendants of one person ruling over the descendants of another. The text is used the exact same way with Cain and Abel as it is used with Adam and Eve. That’s the Bible! That’s Genesis! That's contrary to traditional school-of-thought!

Throughout the ages, repressive means prevented the spread of information considered dangerous; ancient knowledge that encouraged people to think for themselves! The masses were convinced to blindly accept English translations as absolute truth! These omitted most famous people in the Bible were gay.

Privileged groups decided they had exclusive rights to such knowledge. They spoon fed information to the masses at their own discretion and let the chips of deceit, misinterpretation, discrimination and intimidation fall where they may. We can now change all of this; one reader at a time!
